Privacy policy
Your privacy, plainly explained.
What this site collects, the tools it uses, and the choices you have. Recovery Blueprint MD does not ask for your health information and does not sell your personal information.

Who this policy covers
This policy applies to recoveryblueprintmd.com, operated by Recovery Blueprint MD. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to contact@recoveryblueprintmd.com.
Information collected
Information you send. If you email Recovery Blueprint MD, your email address, name (if you include one) and message are received and used only to reply to you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the visit) to keep the site secure and running. The analytics and advertising tools described below also collect information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and referring website.
This site has no user accounts, comments or checkout. Purchases happen on the retailer's own website, under that retailer's privacy policy.
About health information
This site never asks for medical or health details, and none are needed to use it. Please do not include personal health information in emails. For questions about your own care, contact your surgeon or healthcare team.
Cookies and third-party tools
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site does not set its own advertising cookies, but the services below may set cookies or use similar technologies when you visit or click a link:
Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate, Recovery Blueprint MD earns from qualifying purchases. Product links pass through a short recoveryblueprintmd.com/go/ address and then open Amazon, which uses cookies to credit qualifying purchases to this site. Amazon provides only aggregated sales reports; it does not share who you are or what you bought. See Amazon's Privacy Notice.
Link click counts. The site counts how many times each product link is clicked. Only a running total per product is stored; no IP address, cookie or other information about the person clicking is kept.
Google Analytics. Used to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity. Records anonymized interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement to show how pages can be improved (heatmaps and session replays). Text typed into forms is masked. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Pinterest tag. Measures visits that come from Pinterest and may be used to show relevant ads on Pinterest. You can control this in your Pinterest privacy settings; see Pinterest's privacy policy.
Google Fonts. The site's typeface is loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address in order to deliver it.
How information is used
Information is used to run and secure the site, understand which guides are helpful, measure which products readers find useful, improve content, and reply to messages. It is not used to make decisions about you, and it is never used to give individual medical advice.
Sharing and selling
Recovery Blueprint MD does not sell personal information for money and does not share email messages with anyone. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above, as they operate their tools, or when required by law. Under some U.S. state laws, advertising measurement tools such as the Pinterest tag can count as "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out using the choices below, and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are treated as an opt-out where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a private browsing window, or install a content blocker. The site works normally without cookies; Amazon may just be unable to credit a purchase to this site.
You can also use the opt-out links above, or the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states, the EU or the UK), you may have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to correct or delete it, or to opt out of targeted advertising. Because this site holds very little personal information, most requests concern emails you have sent. Send requests to contact@recoveryblueprintmd.com; you will not be treated differently for making one. Information collected by Google, Microsoft, Pinterest or Amazon is managed through those companies' own privacy tools.
Retention and security
Emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and are then deleted. Analytics data is kept for the period set in each tool (for Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months). The site uses HTTPS encryption, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and personal information from children is not knowingly collected. If you believe a child has sent information, please get in touch so it can be deleted.
Other websites
Guides link to retailers, journals and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site or its tools change. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also the medical disclaimer and affiliate disclosure.
